We have recently been awarded two National Awards- The highly regarded Patient Partnership Quality Mark (PPQM) and Clinical Management Quality Mark (CMQM) from the Royal College of Chiropractors. In being selected to receive both awards, we have become one of less than 50 clinics in the UK to hold both awards!
Philippa comments, ‘I set up Acorn Health with one aim in mind- to provide top-quality care to the residents of Emsworth and the surrounding areas, and so we are thrilled to have been recognised by the Royal College of Chiropractors so soon, having opened just last year. We have had a great first year and the support and enthusiasm we have had from the community in Emsworth has been truly amazing.”
The PPQM is awarded to clinics that demonstrate excellence in meeting patient expectations in a range of areas including accessibility, cleanliness and safety and patient communication. The CMQM is awarded to those clinics that demonstrate excellence in terms of operating within a structured and managed clinical environment. The clinics must demonstrate excellence in a range of areas including clinical audit, incident reporting and patient satisfaction.
Philippa comments “It’s a huge honour to have been selected to receive both awards, and is a testament to the level of service provided by all of the team here. Emsworth is such a fantastic, motivated community and it’s wonderful working together with you to achieve whichever end goal you are seeking- be this reduced pain, improved sporting performance, or simply being able to run around with your children!
Philippa has a special interest in chronic pain management, and is also a member of the Royal College of Chiropractor’s specialist Pain Faculty. Based at 2 Palmer’s Road in Emsworth, the team offer specialist musculoskeletal care for people of all ages and cover a wide range of conditions in addition to offering a range of healthcare therapies from a team of experienced practitioners. Not only do they offer on-site care but they also frequently give talks and workshops to groups within the Emsworth community, helping us all maintain a healthy lifestyle, and provide treatment, support, and advice to ensure we all know what steps to take should a problem occur!
