Jenni is an experienced clinical therapist with over 40 years experience in the health industry.  Over the years of treating clients, some with hard challenges in life, she became aware of the power of removing what to some might seem a trivial problem.  Skin tags that bleed every time a man would shave, or a crop of milia on the face of a teenager who was bullied at school because of it.  Sometimes it is the little things that can make huge changes to a persons life and so a few years ago when Jenni found out about Cryotherapy using the Cryopen, the rest is history.

What is Cryotherapy?

Cryopen is an advanced cryotherapy innovation that is fast, effective, safe and the perfect solution for the removal of skin imperfections. Procedure typically lasts from 5-30 seconds by emitting a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure which allows Jenni to work with millimeter precision.  This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane thereby destroying the cell. This means there will be no collateral damage to healthy skin.

What does it treat?

It is the ideal solution for the removal of skin tags, age spots, sun damage, warts, verrucae and milia.  Often requiring only one treatment to notice huge improvements.

Is it painful?

There will be a sensation similar to a stinging nettle on the skin when the nitrous oxide reaches the bottom of the area. There might be residual stinging for a few minutes after treatment.

Are there any side effects?

The area treated is frozen by cryotherapy.  This kills the localized cells in the area which causes them to shrivel and die.  The treated area may go darker over a few weeks. It will return to normal pigmented skin in about 6 weeks, this varies on individuals and the areas treated.

Treatment Fees

Skin tags start from £40
Sun damage on back of one hand from £60

Other skin problems are priced at time of consultation as this is dependent on size and how many.
