Nikki is a Health and Fitness coach and one of only 2 Hypopressive master trainers currently in the U.K. She trained as a personal trainer over 8 years ago after spending the early part of her career as a hairdresser.
As a mum of twins herself Nikki trained as a post natal specialist and found Hypopressive training in Spain 4 years ago. Hypopressives is widely used in Europe for post natal healing to help train the core and pelvic floor, and Nikki wanted a safe and effective method of training for women to get back their core function. Hypopressives is now part of her daily routine after she used the method to get rid of her own incontinence issues and to strengthen her core.

Hypopressives is a core and pelvic floor training method used in Spain, Spanish speaking countries, France and across some of Europe as a method for post natal recovery, but can benefit anyone who suffers from poor pelvic floor control. It works on a system of breathing and posture work to reset the core and gain stability in this area. Hypopressives can help not only post natal healing, its applications are wide and varied. Clients consult Nikki for a range of issues, including:

What to expect from a session?
One to one is the most effective way of learning hypopressives due to the individual tuition you will receive, everybody is different in their needs so experience has shown that this is the best form of training.
Hypopressives can usually be fully learnt in 6 one hour sessions. The first session is always an assessment session to establish your starting point. After this this you will be coached through the method with the outcome at the end of the 6 sessions being that you are confident and fully able to do the Hypopressive routine.
During each session you will be taught the Hypopressive breathing method and the postures, this is very gentle so no heavy gym workout. It is, however, quite technical and can be quite taxing on the muscles and brain!
